We’re thrilled to have Sarah Tomasetti return and discuss her studio practice and use of pre-industrial materials such as fresco, tempera and encaustic. In this online artist talk there’ll be particular emphasis on her doctoral research arising from a residency in a village at the foot of the Himalayas with anthropologist Dr Jane Dyson.
The focus of the talk will be on material agency in the process of making, and how a deep responsiveness to the properties of matter are part of a reciprocal relational approach to practice.
