Join our friendly and supportive life drawing community for CASUAL LIFE DRAWING.  Beginners to advanced, everyone is welcome!

In these sessions you work with and draw from professional models.  We follow a traditional life drawing format beginning with short warm up poses and building up to long poses, with breaks every 20 minutes.  We welcome and encourage alternative methods, less conventional approaches and experimentation.

Easels, large and small drawing boards, chairs, and tables are all provided.  Provided there’s space you may work on the wall or floor, bring your favourite materials along or purchase paper and charcoal at the studio.

Life Drawing Etiquette
First and foremost the model must be treated with respect and consideration at all times. We ensure that the room is secure from any intrusions during the session and that windows are covered to maintain privacy. The comfort and security of the model is the number one concern at all times. Models will only pose for 20 minutes at a time before taking a short break. If you need to leave the class early or if you are late, try to do so in between poses as to not disrupt the other artists or the model. Absolutely no photography. Mobile phones are to be switched off and are not to be used during the modelling session. Absolutely no touching the model. No fixative to be used in the studio, please spray outside.
Cancellation Policy
To reschedule or request a refund we must be notified by these times: Tuesday 5pm for Wednesday's / 9am Friday for Saturday's. If you cancel after that time your session will be marked as attended.
