Drawing as Language

We’re excited to be hosting the next This Wild Song forum with artists Filomena Coppola, Lily Mae Martin and Charlotte Watson!

The artists will be speaking about their work and discussing drawing as language, and share their experiences of being a woman in the arts. Please bring along your questions and join us for a wonderful afternoon of conversations with fellow artists.

Our first printmaking workshop!

We can’t wait for our first printmaking workshop with our new press!
 
MONOTYPE AND THE FIGURE is a one day intensive where you’ll spend the morning focusing on the technical and practical aspects of mono printing. After lunch we will then put it all into practice by making a series of prints working with a life model.

Our OPEN STUDIO sessions return in Term 2 and begin April 17th!

With an ongoing focus on the development of your own individual work and language, there is an emphasis on building confidence, technique and exploration of materials. It is an environment where you should feel comfortable and encouraged to try new things, make mistakes and feel free to explore new ways.

MONOTYPE AND THE FIGURE is being hosted by artist Erika Gofton and master printer Adrian Kellett.  It’s on the 22nd of April, it’s going to be a wonderful one day intensive introduction to the beauty of mono printing.
