Introducing…

Roll_7_Frame_5 001

Hi everyone!  As some of you know I work behind the scenes looking after The Art Room’s newsletters and social media.  I’m taking a break to focus on my personal project This Wild Song, a series of photographic portraits and interviews with Australian women artists.

I’ll be leaving you in the capable hands of artists Merryn Trevethan and Abby Storey!  Many of you have previously met Merryn as she regularly hosts workshops with us.  She is currently living in Singapore and regularly exhibiting in Singapore and Australia.

Abby is a photographic artist from New Zealand and is now based in Melbourne.  She’s a fantastic addition to the team and brings a wealth of knowledge from her personal arts practice and extensive experience working in galleries.

A warm welcome to Abby and Merryn, and I’ll see you around The Art Room soon!
