Celeste Chandler

Celeste is quite literally obsessed with painting and is fascinated by the multitude of ways we can communicate through the medium. She is an incredibly generous and warm teacher and loves to share her deep knowledge and love of painting with her students. She loves to teach, to talk about art and gets immense pleasure from helping students develop their own language and practice. She has taught painting and drawing at some of the best schools in the country including the Victorian College of the Arts, The Canberra School of Art, ANU, The Tasmanian School of Art, Hobart and the Centre for Adult Education and needless to say The Art Room feels incredibly privileged to have her teach with us.

Celeste has a rigorous studio practice and has held solo exhibitions nationally and participated in numerous curated and group shows.
