A brief discussion of how artists make decisions about creating, modifying and developing an artwork.
2. Zooming Mondrian
An in-depth analysis of one of Piet Mondrian’s abstract paintings describing how a seemingly simple looking work can be understood as beguilingly complex when examined closely and for a sustained period of time.
3. Taken for a ride
An anecdotal account of how some of the world’s most renowned paintings survived their travels through periods of war and upheaval.
