Deepen your understanding of PAINTING WITH ACRYLICS in this 6 week course with artist and educator Merryn Trevethan.
Build confidence as you explore a wide range of skills and techniques including colour mixing, painting with a limited palette, mark making, working with textures and grounds, and experimenting with mixed media.
We’ll also cover essentials such as understanding the different types of acrylic paints, application methods, extending drying times, creating tonal shifts, layering, blending, and achieving crisp hard edges.
Each week introduces new techniques, which you’ll then apply to create a small work from a still life. The course is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to take your own acrylic painting practice to the next level.
