MIXED MEDIA ME’S is a new 2 day workshop with Jo Lane where she’ll take you through the application of multiple materials and techniques to create a self portrait on paper incorporating drawing!

We’ll be working with image transfers using gel medium, watercolour textures, fibre threading and fixing, transparent ink overlay, powdered pigment application and pencil drawings.

You’ll sketch your own face referring from a photograph or a mirror.  We’ll then divide the face up into panels and use the different media techniques to created a cohesive mixed materials self portrait!
