INTRODUCTION TO MONOPRINTING is a one day intensive with Master Printer Adrian Kellett!
A monotype is a printmaking technique created by drawing or painting on a smooth, non-absorbent surface such as glass. Discover the beauty of this medium with Adrian sharing his extensive knowledge of printmaking including the properties of ink, paper, pressure, and how to create a beautiful print.
For the first half of the day we focus on the technical and practical aspects of monoprinting, you’ll then put it all into practice by making a series of prints working from a still life of your choosing, plus you’ll also have the option to work from a life model on the day.
