INTRODUCTION TO MONOPRINTING is a one day workshop where you’ll learn about the beauty of mono printing!
A monotype is a printmaking technique created by drawing or painting on a smooth, non-absorbent surface such as glass. Master Printer Adrian Kellett will share his extensive knowledge of printmaking and teach you the properties of ink, paper, pressure, and how to create a beautiful print.
We will focus on the technical and practical aspects of mono printing at first, then you’ll have the opportunity to put it all into practice by making a series of prints working from a still life of your choosing.
