Exploring the Human Head in Ink

A life drawing masterclass with the master of drawing heads!  This workshop will address portraiture with a concentration on structural aspects of the head, neck and upper body working with ink as the medium.  Linear and tonal approaches demonstrated and analytical discussion within a group context will further explore working with the human head.  Two models will be available to draw from, and the tutor will provide helpful information about managing complex compositions.

Given that ink is a wet medium participants have the options of creating an easel, floor or table drawing.  Participants may choose to work in a dry medium or with mixed media also.  All participants will benefit from discussion and demonstration.
