Join Yvette Coppersmith for DRAWING THE PORTRAIT and raise funds for Afghanistan with 100% of proceeds donated to Australia for UNHCR.

We’ll ease into the session with a mindfulness exercise, then warm up with some rapid sketches that break down portrait structure into simplified shapes.  We’ll explore facial shapes and angles through drawing from a range of paintings by Alice Neel, with the aim to balance freedom of mark making with analytical drawing.

This fundraiser is hosted on zoom and all you need is drawing materials and paper.  All welcome, beginners to advanced!
